Our beauty budget can change at any given time. Luckily, beauty does not have to cost a fortune. Many products can be found for an inexpensive price, some even less than ten dollars.
Although there may be products that feel impossible to cut corners on such as skincare cleanser, moisturizer, or foundation. However, corners can be cut on glamour products without sacrificing “the look”.
Foundation
Foundation is not a cosmetic to really skimp on if possible. But when the need arrives, a good foundation can be found for an inexpensive price. Recommendation: L’Oréal Paris True Match liquid foundation is a great foundation that works for all skin types. Plus it is blendable, provides great coverage, and lightweight.
Eye shadows
Although less expensive eye shadows may not have the highest pigmentation than the top brands. It is possible to find eye shadows that are more affordable that still last a long time. Also, eye shadows can last a long time so a large investment at first will still be less expensive in the long run. Recommendation: Mary Kay makes great eye shadows that last a long time as well as being able to customize the colors for skin tone and eye color. Wet an eyeliner brush and the eye shadow can be used as eyeliner as well.
Blush
Blush is another product that tends to last a long time as well as be difficult to find the right color. It is an essential step that is necessary for all women to look younger. Because it takes just a little bit of product, blush can last a long time. Recommendation: Revlon Powder Blush comes in a variety of colors as well as a great compact. It has a very clever slide out mirror that will not get dirty from makeup dust. Plus the brush that is included works very well for quick application.
Lip gloss
Lip gloss is a popular staple in every woman’s makeup routine. Finding the right lip gloss can take some trial and error. Some seem to be more drying or are not glossy enough. While other lip gloss leave a sticky feeling. Recommendation: For very inexpensive lip gloss in a variety of colors and scents, try Victoria Secret’s Beauty Rush. For a lip-plumping lip gloss try, Physicians Formula Plump Potion Needle-Free Lip Plumping Cocktail. This lip gloss will plump lips for a fuller look that over time has a lasting effect. It is also hydrating and comes in many popular colors.
Remember, the hardest part for purchasing a cosmetic in a drug/ department store is getting the correct color. Pay the most attention to the undertone of the skin.
