Remember the three R’s? Reduce, Reuse and Recycle can work just as well on a wardrobe as it does on anything else. Hairstyles and hair colors can easily be changed to go with the seasons. Plus, changing either one or both does not cost very much. With a help of a friend, it can even be done at home if one dares to give it a try.
Share Clothes
Have a friend that is about the same size? Combine forces and closets and automatically the wardrobe choices will be twice as big. Some problems can arise with sharing clothes of close friends so make sure this does not put the friendship in jeopardy. It is best when done with friends who are in a similar financial and class situation. It is also recommended to have a “Library” type system, where clothes are checked out for a certain amount of time and returned cleaned and pressed.
Accessorize the Wardrobe
Add accessories that are current and up to date to tired clothing styles. By accessorizing, the clothes will look more up to date. With many companies now creating designer knock offs, finding great accessories is easier than ever. A local mall will have many stores available that will provide such accessories.
Find Coupons for Online Shopping
Online fashion choices are available with a quick Google search. Not only can cheap clothing stores be found but coupons to use at the favorite retail stores will also help provide a discount. Remember to Google store coupons before clicking “final check out.”
Remember, looking for inexpensive deals does not mean that it is necessary to give up favorite clothing styles. Just make wiser decisions and work the clothing that is already in the closet.
