Eye Makeup Application for a Summer Makeup Look
- Start by applying Casablanca Eyeshadow to the lid and brow bone. This is a beautiful, shimmery champagne color that will highlight and draw attention to the eyes. The Casablanca Eyeshadow is currently sold for $15.
- With the Manhattan 24/7 Eye Colour Palette, apply the color Wall Street (the middle color in the palette that is a medium brown color) to the crease of the eye. Blend with the Casablanca Eyeshadow. The Manhattan 24/7 Eye Colour Palette can be purchased for $40 and contains five eye colors.
- Then use the last color in the palette, Times Square, as an eyeliner by applying the color as close as possible to the top lashes of the eye. The angled brush that comes with the palette can be used for this step. It might be helpful to apply a small amount of moisture to the brush before applying.
- Finish off the rest of the eyes by applying two to three layers of Long Lash Mascara in Intense Black. This mascara will not only lengthen and thicken lashes but will also help condition. It can be purchased for $16
Summer Makeup Tip: Summer is a great time to use eye shadow as eyeliner because it won’t smudge as easily and tends to wear well during the hot and humidity. Eye shadow also provides a more natural look which is perfect for summer time!
Makeup Application Tips for the rest of the Summer Makeup Look
- For the cheeks, apply Andes Blush/Bronzer to the apples of the cheeks and blend up onto the cheek bones. Then apply softly to the top of the forehead, down the base of the nose, and to the tip of the chin. Andes will add a soft, sun-kissed look with a hint of shimmer and can be purchased for $15
- For lips, apply St Lucia Lip balm to add a light natural tone to the lips. Keep the lip balm on hand to keep lips smooth and conditioned. The St Lucia Lip balm retails for $15
- If wearing a revealing top or a sundress, apply the Bronze Age Shimmer Powder to the shoulders, decollete, and legs for an overall body shimmer. The Shimmer Powder is a loose powder that retails for $14
